Effective date: 2026-07-04. Short version: the calculators run entirely in your browser, and we don't need — or want — your personal information to show you a number.
Information we collect
Calculator inputs: the numbers you type (square footage, pitch, material choices) are processed in your browser by JavaScript. They are not transmitted to our servers, stored, or associated with you.
Contact email: if you email us, we receive your address and message. We use them only to reply and to fix reported issues; we don't add you to lists or share your address.
Server logs: our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes standard technical data — IP address, user agent, requested URL — to serve pages and prevent abuse, subject to its own privacy practices.
Cookies, analytics, and advertising
The site currently sets no first-party cookies and runs no analytics scripts. If we later add privacy-respecting analytics or third-party advertising (such as Google AdSense), this page will be updated first, and any such partner's use of cookies — including how to opt out of personalized advertising via Google Ads Settings or aboutads.info — will be disclosed here before it goes live.
Third-party links
Guides may link to external sources (government data, retailers). Those sites have their own privacy policies; we don't control them and aren't responsible for their practices.
Children
The site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Your choices and contact
Because we hold no account data about you, there is usually nothing to delete — but questions or requests about this policy can be sent to hello@costcandor.com.
Changes
Material changes to this policy will be reflected in the effective date above.
